1. Information We Collect

1.1 Registration Information. Full name, email address, phone number, age, gender, and location when you create an account.

1.2 Spouse Information. Your spouse's name and email address when you invite them to the platform.

1.3 Questionnaire Responses. Your responses to all self-reflection topics, including Behavioral Style, Attachment Style, Love Languages, Conflict Style, Core Motivators, Life Vision Alignment, Emotional Intimacy and Connection, Stress and Resilience Patterns, and Family Systems. These responses constitute sensitive personal data about your relationship and personal life.

1.4 Homework and Program Data. Your responses to weekly program check-ins, completion status, and engagement data.

1.5 Payment Information. Payment card details and billing information, processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. LiZug LLC does not store full payment card numbers.

1.6 Communication Data. Emails sent between you and LiZug LLC, and records of email notifications delivered to you.

1.7 Usage Data. Log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected automatically when you use the platform.

1.8 Consent Records. Timestamps and records of your agreement to our Terms, Privacy Policy, Consent for Data Processing, and Coaching Agreement.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Platform Services. To generate your individual profile, Couple Map, homework program, timeframe recommendations, and coaching plan using AI systems.

2.2 Coaching Services. To provide human coaching sessions, generate coach briefings, and facilitate TidyCal session scheduling.

2.3 Account Management. To manage your account, process payments, send transactional emails, and provide customer support.

2.4 Safety and Compliance. To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms, and to comply with applicable legal obligations.

2.5 Platform Improvement. To analyze usage patterns and improve the platform's AI systems and user experience, using de-identified or aggregated data where possible.

2.6 Legal Obligations. To comply with applicable laws, respond to legal process, and protect the rights and safety of LiZug LLC and others.

3. Who Can See Your Data

3.1 You. Each partner can see their own questionnaire responses, individual profile, and personal data.

3.2 Your Spouse. Your individual profile is private by default. You can choose to share it with your spouse by clicking the "Share with partner" button in your Relationship Space. The Couple Map is visible to both partners once generated. Your raw questionnaire answers are never shared with your spouse.

3.3 LiZug LLC Staff and Coaches. LiZug LLC staff and coaches can access all couple data, including questionnaire responses, profiles, Couple Maps, homework data, and coaching plans, for the purpose of providing and improving coaching services, quality assurance, and platform management.

3.4 Third-Party Service Providers. We share data with the following service providers solely as necessary to provide the platform: Stripe (payment processing), Mailjet (email delivery), Google (AI processing via Gemini), and Lovable (platform infrastructure). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

3.5 Legal Requirements. We may disclose your data when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of any person.

3.6 No Sale of Data. LiZug LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Security

4.1 Security Measures. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption of data in transit and at rest, Row Level Security on our database, and access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel.

4.2 No Absolute Guarantee. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4.3 Breach Notification. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

5. Data Retention

5.1 Active Accounts. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.

5.2 After Account Deletion. Upon account deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except for the following categories which must be retained: (a) payment and billing records, retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes; (b) records of your consent to our legal agreements, retained for the duration of any applicable statute of limitations; (c) data required by applicable law or legal process; (d) data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

5.3 Questionnaire History. Superseded questionnaire responses (from dimension retakes) are archived in a separate history table rather than permanently deleted, to preserve the integrity of your program history.

6. Your Rights

6.1 Access. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

6.2 Correction. You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.

6.3 Deletion. You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to the retention requirements in Section 5.2.

6.4 Portability. You may request your personal data in a portable format where technically feasible.

6.5 Withdrawal of Consent. You may withdraw consent to data processing at any time by deleting your account. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

6.6 How to Exercise Rights. Contact us at admin@marriedbydesign.com to exercise any of these rights.

7. Cookies and Tracking

7.1 Session Cookies. We use session cookies necessary for platform functionality, including authentication and session management.

7.2 No Advertising Tracking. We do not use advertising trackers, behavioral tracking cookies, or share data with advertising networks.

8. Children's Privacy

The platform is not intended for and does not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

9. International Users

The platform is operated from the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the platform, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

LiZug LLC may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on the platform. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
