This Consent for Data Processing ("Consent") explains what sensitive personal data the Married By Design platform collects, how it is processed, and what you are agreeing to when you use the platform. By checking the consent box at registration, you expressly consent to the data processing described below.
1. Nature of Data Collected
1.1 Sensitive Personal Data. The Married By Design platform collects sensitive personal information about your relationship and personal life, including: behavioral style and decision-making patterns, attachment patterns and relationship history, love language preferences, conflict behavior and recurring relationship disagreements, core personal motivators and values, life vision, financial philosophy, and parenting views, emotional intimacy patterns and physical closeness needs, stress responses and coping behaviors, and family systems and extended family dynamics.
1.2 Voluntary Disclosure. You provide this information voluntarily by answering the platform's self-reflection questions. Certain sensitive reflection topics (Emotional Intimacy and Connection, Stress and Resilience Patterns) require explicit opt-in consent before you begin those sections, and may be skipped if you choose.
1.3 Both Partners. Both you and your spouse provide separate, private questionnaire responses. Your individual responses are not shared with your spouse unless you explicitly choose to share your profile.
2. How Your Data Is Processed
2.1 AI Processing. Your questionnaire responses are processed by artificial intelligence systems (specifically Google's Gemini AI, accessed via Lovable's AI Gateway) to generate: your individual relationship profile, a Couple Map showing alignment and friction areas between you and your spouse, a personalized homework program, a timeframe recommendation, and (if coaching is purchased) a session-by-session coaching plan.
2.2 Human Review. LiZug LLC staff and coaches may review AI-generated content and your questionnaire responses for: quality assurance purposes, coaching session preparation, and ongoing program management.
2.3 No Clinical Use. Your data is not used for clinical diagnosis, psychological evaluation, or medical purposes. AI-generated profiles and maps are coaching tools, not clinical evaluations.
2.4 Aggregated Analysis. LiZug LLC may use de-identified, aggregated data derived from questionnaire responses to improve the platform's AI systems and services. Your individually identifiable data will not be used for this purpose without separate consent.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
3.1 Consent. The primary legal basis for processing your sensitive personal data is your explicit consent, provided by checking the consent box at registration and the opt-in consent screens for sensitive dimensions.
3.2 Contract Performance. Some processing is necessary to perform the services you have contracted for, including generating your Couple Map and homework program.
3.3 Legitimate Interests. Some processing is based on LiZug LLC's legitimate interests in operating and improving the platform, subject to your privacy rights.
4. Data Sharing
4.1 Service Providers. Your data is shared with third-party service providers only as necessary to provide the platform: Stripe (payment processing), Mailjet (email delivery), Google (AI processing), and Lovable (platform infrastructure). All providers are subject to data processing agreements.
4.2 No Third-Party Marketing. Your sensitive personal data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.
4.3 Legal Requirements. Data may be disclosed when required by law or to protect safety.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
5.1 Retention. Your data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus the periods required by law as described in the Privacy Policy.
5.2 Deletion. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting admin@marriedbydesign.com. Certain data must be retained as described in the Privacy Policy Section 5.2.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and receive a portable copy of your personal data. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account, though withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. To exercise your rights, contact admin@marriedbydesign.com.
7. Risks and Acknowledgments
7.1 Sensitive Nature. You acknowledge that the information you provide is of a sensitive personal nature and that you are choosing to share it voluntarily for the purpose of relationship coaching.
7.2 AI Limitations. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may not perfectly reflect your relationship or personal life, and that you are not obligated to act on any AI-generated insight or recommendation.
7.3 Not Therapy. You acknowledge that this platform is not therapy and that the data processing described here is for coaching purposes only, not clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic purposes.
7.4 Security. You acknowledge that while LiZug LLC implements reasonable security measures, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7.5 Coaching Review. You acknowledge and consent to LiZug LLC staff and coaches reviewing your questionnaire responses and AI-generated content for coaching and quality assurance purposes.
